"Engineering with Intelligence: An AI-Human Collaboration Manifesto"
I. Introduction: Why You Are Reading This?
We are in an era where traditional resumes have lost their authenticity and skills can be easily manipulated by AI. I have prepared this document not just to list "what I know," but to transparently share "how I create value" in this new age of technology.
This is a declaration of honesty: I am opening the doors to my professional kitchen for those who believe that software development is no longer just about writing code, but the art of architecting systems.
II. The New Paradigm: From Coder to System Architect
With the rise of Large Language Models (LLMs), the role of the developer has evolved from a "code producer" to a "system architect." I define myself as a solution architect who uses AI as a leverage to multiply my engineering capacity.
Strategic Judgment: AI offers infinite possibilities; I weigh the future of the project, technical debt risks, and sustainability to make the strategic decision.
Visionary Alignment: My approach is in full alignment with the vision of Matt Welsh (Harvard/Google), as stated in "The End of Programming": the belief that programming is evolving into designing high-level systems and directing AI models.
III. Responsibility and Depth: Beyond 2+2=4
For me, AI is not an "answer machine," but a "proof laboratory." Instead of accepting a result at face value:
Deconstruction: I break down every algorithm suggested by AI into its logical components, asking "why" to scrutinize the underlying proofs.
Verification & Accountability: As Andrej Karpathy (OpenAI/Tesla) emphasized with "The hottest new programming language is English"; I use natural language to define complex problems, yet I personally assume full responsibility for the security, performance, and integrity of the resulting code.
Key Insight: Engineering in the Pre-AGI Era
In this period where AI has not yet reached AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) levels, I consider the
critical gap that separates the human mind from the machine—contextual awareness, ethical judgment, and
real-world experience—as a core engineering competency. AI calculates probabilities; I weigh those
probabilities on a human scale.
IV. The Human Factor: Experience and Passion
My desire to learn and my life experience are my greatest sources of productivity when collaborating with AI. The human intuition that AI lacks is the foundation of my engineering approach. What makes a system truly efficient is the curiosity and the "passion for proof" of the mind that governs it.
V. Process Transparency (Proof of Concept)
This manifesto is a product of the collaboration between a human mind and artificial intelligence. You can examine the reasoning process and the intellectual exchange I had with AI while building the philosophical foundations of this text via the link below.
